From 1997 to 2003, during various Venice Art Biennale I produced a photographic series asking international artists to portray themselves with a digital camera. I gave them a camera, a flexible shooting, and a tripod. They chose the place, the shot, and the time of shooting. Some of these photos (most are unpublished) have been exhibited, on December 2007, at Palazzo Martini in Riva del Garda during the exhibition "Selfmade", a project of mine where the visitors of the exhibition could photograph themselves and the images produced were exhibited alongside those of artists.
